SOLARC ACHIEVES INTEGRATION CERTIFICATION FROM ICE
HOUSTON (NOV. 10, 2008) - SolArc, a global provider of enterprise commodity management solutions, announced today that its RightAngle solution has been certified to integrate directly with IntercontinentalExchange (ICE), a leading operator of regulated global futures exchanges and over-the-counter markets. SolArc is the first ISV to integrate with the newest ICE Trade Capture API which is based on version 4.4 of the industry-standard Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol. ICE certification allows SolArc customers to directly integrate with ICE markets to eliminate data entry errors, eliminate or reduce reconciliations, reduce delays, and reduce operating costs.
According to Cynthia Haynie, SolArc chief technology officer, "Integration with ICE is a rigorous process that is thoroughly tested to ensure conformance with ICE markets. Through direct integration with ICE we are able to provide our customers a high level of technical and operational readiness."
Brad Anderson, SolArc chief executive officer, added, "Traditionally, from initiation of an exchange trade to its settlement, the process is filled with manual actions and duplication of effort. In contrast, ICE requires all trading members to use conformant software at all times when connected to the markets, and SolArc is the only enterprise commodity management solution that provides direct integration. This direct, seamless integration ensures the highest levels of real-time connectivity and accuracy so that SolArc customers have maximum insight and control into their trading activities."
