SOLARC ANNOUNCES NEW HIRES FOR NATURAL GAS SOLUTION
HOUSTON (May 14, 2009) - SolArc, a global provider of commodity supply, trading and risk management software solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of two key positions focused on the SolArc Solution for Natural Gas.
Alan Gunn has joined SolArc and is responsible for directing Sales and Sales Strategy for the SolArc Solution for Natural Gas. Gunn has more than 20 years of experience in energy, technology, and commodities trading and risk management. Gunn has previously served in senior sales management positions with Kiodex, a commodity risk and trading service, and Altra Energy Technologies, a natural gas trading and transportation software company. Gunn also led the efforts to bridge Vitria Technology, Macro Energy and Manugistics into the energy marketplace. Gunn has significant expertise in natural gas trading and transportation, and worked on the Texas Eastern transition team for FERC Order 636, as well as serving at numerous FERC technical hearings, GISB and NAESB conferences. Gunn is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Jeri Galloway Masterson has also joined SolArc and will lead Product Marketing efforts for the SolArc Natural Gas Solution. Masterson has more than 25 years of experience in product management, product development and natural gas risk management. Masterson has served as Principal of Quattro Energy Partners, as well as in senior executive positions at El Paso Merchant Energy, Deutsche Bank, J. Aron (Goldman Sachs) and Valero. Masterson is a graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, and also earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. Masterson will be working closely with the sales and development teams, as well as across customer accounts, to continue advancing the market-leading capabilities of the SolArc Solution for Natural Gas.
